Thank you very much for your kind words, however as for the composition - I was very lucky to take a picture of this setting in the flower exposition park Keukenhof, which is open for several months in spring.
My contribution are the dark edges and the intense colours ^^

It is a blue vanda orchid. Not certain of the exact type.

You're a specialist with orhids ;-) There is no other person with so many orchid pictures here on DA, I think :P So getting a compliment about this orchid by you is a big deal for me^^

Are you kidding??! I adore your gallery!!! You have fantastic photos.
You have made my day (it was a rough one) with your compliment just now. Thank you :D
I do have a ton of orchid photos and soon will have more. The local garden is doing their orchid extravaganza until end of March. In the middle of March I get to take and up close and personal class of orchids. Can't wait!!!

Orchid extravaganza? Oh, that sounds really nice  Looking forward to see your pictures!
(I'll be going in April to Keukenhof, which is a world famous display of tulips, hyacinths, orchids and the week where I'd like to go, they'll show gerbera :faint: )
Out local botanical garden in my city is rather boring, that is why I prefer to go to a town close by and to visit theirs. They've got tons of waterlillies.

Even though your Friday was a hard day, I hope that you could enjoy the weekend and relax a bit.

Sounds like you will have fun in April. I love April as many flowers and trees are coming back to life!

I was unable to relax this weekend because I had to work. It was very busy because it is the weekend and because people were buying for their Superbowl parties.

Finally home. I will relax tomorrow though ;D Thank you

April/March (depending on the region) are somewhat the most beautiful months of the year, as most plants bloom during this time ;-)
Actually we have some crocuses at the end of February, so my "yearly photography season" will start in about 3-4 weeks :iconplanningplz:

So you work in a convienience store, or a big supermarket?(actually I am also working in the retail business, but only parttime in a small fashion store. Definetely less tiring.)

;-) Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, I'll be working again.

I work for Target. Been there for 10 years.
Our crocuses usually start blooming early March. They may be early this year though because I have already been seeing some green sprouting up (appears to possibly be daffodil leaves!)
Hurry up warmer weather and bring on Spring!

Wow, especially for nowadays I think it is an amazing accomplishment to stay at the same company for such a long time as 10 years. Most people here change their work after 1 year or so.
I'd also love for spring to come soon this year. The last weeks of January were terribly cold here and only for the past few days we've had some decent temperatures..
Daffodils & crocuses  that's what spring is about ^^

I did a lot of sharpening to achieve this effect ;-)
Also removing some colour helped ^^
Glad to hear you liked them!
